Corecrete is a unique composite material connecting the advantages of modern technology. We achieve a natural-looking concrete through in-house mechanics and hand-made technologies so each product has its own unique look. The final product embodies concrete’s unique elements in appearance, rigidity, durability and weight. Corecrete should be considered a stone material because more than 95% of its elements are natural stone components. It’s also a precious fabricated stone because of its fine, glass-making raw materials that ensure high-strength and high-performance concrete composites. We use high-quality, pure hydraulic bonding agents by burning natural clinker minerals, activating and tying them with pure quartz sands, pigments and cultivation additives to create high-performance Corecrete. We also offer subtle shell elements with our customized fiber additives, ranging in thickness starting from 15 millimeters. The design and shape are limited only by your imagination.

Throughout its history, concrete has undergone many cultural adaptations. Across the Mediterranean from ancient Egypt, the Phoenicians were using concrete for construction of waterways. In ancient Greece, concrete was used to build massive walls, and the Romans utilized it in the construction of the Pantheon, only to have it be forgotten for the next 1300 years. Further records about concrete are not known until the middle of 18th century when British builder John Smeaton started to add hydraulic lime into construction materials. Another important milestone for concrete was in 1824 with the discovery of Portland cement. Plain concrete has a high resistance in compression, however not in tension, and thus its use was limited only for foundations of structures. Not until 1867 was reinforced concrete discovered. Interestingly, 17 years earlier a boat was made of concrete. Equipped with modern technologies and inspired by our ancestors we started manufacturing modern furniture from lightweight, high-strength concrete. Blissful and motivated in our appreciation of this medium, we try to change the way people think about this material that was so popular in the past. Concrete is a material that has the dignity of stone yet at the same time offers far more possibilities for monolithic, seamless products of various shapes.

Self-compacting concrete (SCC) is categorized as an Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC), guaranteeing you the highest quality premium concrete. Its major property is the ability of fresh mixture to flow without the need for mixing machines-- this concrete achieves consolidation by its own mass. SCC is characterized by structural strength, high consistency, enhanced resistivity against aggressive environments and high-quality surfaces. These properties make the composite material Corecrete suitable for thin-walled structures with a requirement of high-quality surface. We guarantee that Corecrete is a construction material of class A1 that is water and frost-proof. Currently we also offer a technology of sprayed concrete that allows us to achieve thin-walled shell structures with extreme strength. The raw concrete mixture is made of fine-milled highly reactive white cement RPS (Reactive powder cement), and sprayed by pressure gun into the mold. The material is especially valued for its combination of highly homogenous structure, elimination of larger fractions of quartz sand, and greater compactness with minimum porosity.

The traditional reinforcement with steel bars is replaced by modern fibers. Fiber supplies the mixture with greater strength, ductility and also increases the limiting transformation. According to the specifications of the project, we use carbon, glass, aramid (Kevlar), metal or polymer fibers. For example, glass fibers are characterized by high strength, bending stiffness and high modulus of elasticity. Glass fibers increase the strength of concrete, decrease the risk of fracture and increase resistance to dynamic effects. Glass fibers have 10 times higher modulus of elasticity (72 GPa) than regularly used polymer fibers and more than 100 times higher tensile strength (3500 MPa) at softening temperature point of 860°C. Another synergic effect can be seen on decreasing impact of shrinkage, resistance to high-temperatures and mutual benefits from individual components. In other words, the final product is greater than the sum of its parts. Glass fibers are manufactured from a special type of glass – C-glass (chemically corrosion-proof) and AR-glass (alkali resistant) that provide maximum resistance to the material. If the glass fibers are grouped into bundles, mats or layers they becomes comparable to traditional steel reinforcement, while weighing substantially less. In addition, glass fibers are not vulnerable to rust, a common impairment of steel reinforcement.

During the process of concrete casting we can add virtually any color. We offer the full spectrum of color tones, ranging from white through grey and from dark to black. The natural color of concrete depends on the color of the cement and silicious additives. The exterior surface is further influenced by the color of the stone and sand used, which is emphasized by grinding and polishing which uncovers the stone grains. Our team of technologists and construction engineers continues to develop concrete technology further using scientific and normative experimental methods, numerical analysis and performance simulations. Before the fabrication, extensive modeling and analysis is conducted using architectural software programs. These models are statistically evaluated and the any critical points are identified. Afterwards is the most important phase, the phase of realization. The precision and detailed analysis we use are especially important because sometimes even a slight deviation in the integrity can decide the success of an entire project. We always strive to use technology to the fullest extent to eliminate any risks and create the perfect product.

We proudly present a unique project at the hearth of the city of Prague. The bathroom solitaire project for ON Club in Vinohrady has become a masterpiece in the reconstruction of this historical building. The central area was meant to be a dominant part of the space and modern technology of Concereto concrete casting provided unlimited possibilities of interpretation. Its shape, material, color, and structure could have been arbitrarily chosen to the architectural design.
